SALSA Rafting in Letchworth Park 4/14/07 : Twenty six intrepid souls ventured out in the mid-forty degree weather to raft the Genesee River in Letchworth State Park, led by their fearless organizer, Eric Baker. Adventure Outfitters provided the rafts, wet suits and guides and a good time was had by all. No one got hypothermia and some even voluntarily jumped into the water, kept warm by their wet suits.

SALT Workshop 9/9/06 : Twenty leaders partilcipated in this Single Adult ministry Leadership Training workshop, driving from as far away as Buffalo, Endicott, and Syracuse. Large and small churches were represented. Three of the large ones included Eastern Hills Wesleyan, The Chapel at Cross Point, and Union Center Christian. Three key topics were covered: Ten Essentials for a Successful Singles Ministry; Dealing with Diversity - Seasons of Singleness; Digital Resources for Your Singles Ministry Many thanks to Nancy Stuart and Bath Baptist Church for hosting the workshop. Also thank you to SALSA Leadership Team members: Debbie Fero, Trudi Cook, Carol Beam, Colleen Murphy, Eric Baker and Mark Frost for their assistance with the workshop as well. Thanks also go to Sherri Watters, Family Life's Food Service Director for her assistance, for help in preparing the lunch and refreshments. SALSA at Kingdom Bound 8/9/06 : August 7-9, Darien Lake, NY - Kingdom Bound Christian Music Festival at Six Flags Darien Lake theme park conducted workshops for singles 1:30 pm each day which were hosted by SALSA. Monday Dr. Kevin Leman spoke with advice for single parents. Tuesday, Kris Swiatocho of TheSinglesNetwork Ministries gave a seminar entitled, "Wanna get hitched and not to a U-Haul". Wednseday she spoke to single adult ministry leaders.
